Keith Blair McKenzie - Research Geophysicist (Director)

Blair graduated in 1972 with a B.Sc. in Geology and Geophysics from the University of Queensland, a B.A. (Hons) in Exploration Geophysics Macquarie University (1974) and a M.Sc. (Hons) in Geophysics from Macquarie University (1977).  His diverse research experience includes potential fields, seismology, magnetotellurics, electromagnetic, remote sensing, rock magnetism and petrophysics.

Prior to joining Tensor Research Blair worked as a researcher for Preussag, Geospex Associates, ACIRL and Encom Technology.  During his time at Encom he developed the algorithms for all the potential field modelling, regularised inversion, joint inversion code and advanced FFT transformations for potential field analysis used in ModelVision, QuickMag and Discover PA.

At Tensor Research, Blair is responsible for new theoretical research, optimisation of existing technologies, algorithm development and rock property analysis.
